I had my GLI flat bedded from one incompetent body shop to another.

I'd say it pulled to the side a little when I picked it up. Gerber Collision FTL.

I had 4 miles on mine when I took ownership. Good enough for me. Had 84 miles on my 04 wrx when I took delivery and never had an issue.

This makes me queasy about shipping my STI cross-country. Sigh.

I wonder if I'd be better off teaching the wife to drive it (she doesn't drive a stick) and ship her car instead.

Doesn't the Cobb AP have a rev limiter function? Could you limit the revs to 3000 rpm to make sure nobody has fun with your car?

Hmmm... interesting way to write off an AP as "moving expenses".

Did you miss out the "NOT" I put in the quotation?

Um, no, I believe he left the "not" out on purpose. Because cruise control keeps the car at a steady speed, and the one thing you DON'T want to do when breaking in a new engine is drive at the same speed for long periods of time.

If I found a car out of state, I would make the dealership put it on a flatbed truck. I would not let some stranger drive my car hundreds of miles when it's brand new. I don't care if the driver is 70 years old. I want to be the only one driving my car during the break-in miles. After that, I always let people drive my cars as long as I'm with them in the car. No one but me however drives my car when I'm breaking it in.

By the way to the OP, it looks like the video has been removed from youtube.
