Default AMS to make intake manifold

I found out on evom randomly that they are making an intake manifold for the STI. No pictures have been released yet, because they say its so innovative. Im sure it would be expensive, but think of the options to go with this. TGV's could be deletedand even reverse throttle body for shorter piping for a fmic or better yet a V mount intercooler. It's supose to be out in two or so month's. One could only imagine with an improved intake manifold and head work with cams and a 30R or 35R what kink of power that could be had. Low end torque and midrange power of the STI with evo like top end power. ok now im dreaming too much.

I'm pretty damn excited. AMS makes top notch stuff, their parts and ETS's are what my evo is made of.

Interesting, I just heard another high-tech shop is working on an intake manifold as well. Can't wait for the comparos.

AMS actually made one of the less effective aftermarket manifolds for the EVO.

I talk to the Mark at AMS pretty often, not sure how accurate a couple months really is with any of their Subaru parts. They have put all their time into manufacturing for the Evo X. I've been trying to get the AMS large TMIC for MY06 STi for 8 months now and they still won't build another one. The only one that's out there is the prototype. I'd be interested in seeing what will become of this manifold. Any hear anything about an intake manifold from Full-Race?

But they make bad ass Evos as a whole and it HAS to be a better alternative than the Magnus.

I diddnt know full race was in the mix with an intake manifold too. I thought they had the best header with NASA prices.
