AP reflash question

Has anyone noticed hesitation with/without an AP reflash?

any other mods? An intake, bov, anything? I doubt it's the map that is causing anything, more than likely a failure that happened to occur around the same time.

You think I lost my seal? Wouldn't that create a consistent problem and not something intermittent?

I don't know, and neither will you if you don't get the test done or use some other way of determining if your ring lands have let go.

Yes, these are reflashes. I have not used the real-time option at all.

Someone else on the forums accidentally only flashed the real time and he produced similar results.

There are only two options and I am definitely not choosing "real-time."

If you flash the base map it uses that real time map as well. You can't JUST flash the realtime map, that guy that pwn is referring to was a complete mess and had no clue what he was doing.

lol I know. I don't even know how he managed to pull that off. When I flashed my 08 I didn't even see any option to remotely do that.

I'm thinking that maybe the white cloud is water vapor mixed with unburnt fuel since the cats arent warmed up. The car runs f**king awesome at stage 1 and I only noticed the black smoke today, but it could just be the ECU doing a bit of "learning." I really think a blown ring land would cause the white smoke to continue after start up and produce a myriad of other noticeable performance issues. I could be wrong, but I really want to know if anyone else experiences the white smoke at startup and/or the black smoke under hard acceleration with the Cobb stage 1 reflash.
