Stock C5s are actually not that fast. The Z06 variant is obviously well out of our reach, but if that C5 was stock or lightly modded, it's prefectly believable. Just look at this thread:
bone stock c5 1/4 mile list - Corvette Forum

If it was an auto, 103-106mph traps is not out of the range of a stage 1 '08. The manuals might be up to the driver, age of the engine, etc.

Now a heavily modded C5 would cause an '08's quad-exhaust to curl up and hide. No way in hell would a stage 1 or stage 2 '08 hang with a heavily modded C5.

As for hesitation, yes...I noticed my car doing this after this long weekend of car abuse. I drove about 400 miles round trip to an Evo school, beat on my car all day Saturday, then beat on it at a local event Sunday. An ECU reset seemed to make the hesitation go away, but it's now back a day later. This is on a stock ECU, no reflash. I did some logging but without the actual map to compare to, I have no idea if the car is pulling timing or doing anything else weird.

The only thing I noticed from my stage 1 map is that my car rips the shizznit out of anything on the road. A heavily modded C5 Vetter (looked like 04') couldn't pull on me at all. I love you Cobb. I wub you. I wub you.
ROFLMA I am sold on the AP!!

I occasionally notice hesitation on the Cobb stage 1 map in the low RPMs, but it's definitely not pulling timing. I attribute this to the taller gearing - I find 2nd and 3rd bog so much easier around 2K-2.5K than my '05 ever did.

I just put a Perrin DP on the car and flashed it with their S2 file. I am noticing a slight hesitation from about ~2600 to ~3000rpm's with a little load and slight throttle. I can't datalog yet, but the AP said the A/F's were still around 14.7 and on the edge of vac/boost. learning ignition goes from 0 to 2.5. It doesn't show a negative, but am I safe to assume that is the car pulling timing.

This does not happen under WOT, nor did it happen when I ran the Perrin stage 1 93oct. file or for that mater when the car was bone stock. Boost also maxes at 18psi, but IIRC that is a limitation to the AP.

I will probably try and switch to the Cob S2 map for the drive home and see if the hesitation is there.

The last video shows the Gallardo start to pull away, at which point the 135 quickly hits the brakes, wanting to end the race...
