Default Subaru Boost Gauge

In addition to the TBE, I had this Subaru boost gauge installed at HarmanMotive the other day. It fits nicely against the steering column and matches up real nice.

I like it a lot, it looks a lot better than the 04-07 Subaru gauge. It's nice they raised the max to 2.0 bar too.

Ooh... I like a lot more than the Lamco:

I'm also curious if this is a fit for the 2006, and wondering if it would go on the left side where mine currently is. Also, what is the backlight color, red? white?

If possible I'd keep the Lamco housing though, I'm not too much of a fan of the sun-visor overhang.

Backlight is red, just like the rest. The picture is at a funny angle, so it appears to be right in front of the speedometer. I'll get another pic at night when it's all lit up.

I picked it up at HarmanMotive, wasn't cheap. In the neighborhood of 400.

with the main cluster and dashboard re-design you'd think they make room for such common gauge. Personally I don't like anything mounted where it gets in front of other gauges.

I've been eyeing the Subaru boost gauge myself...I'd like to see if I could find it somewhere for less than 400 though, like say 350. ALSO, Can someone briefly explain how to read Bar versus PSI? Or how I translate it into PSI? Sorry for noob question. Just need to know! thanks.

Google is your friend man... just look up the conversion from bar to psi! Sorry I'm too lazy to do it for you!!
