end of the Month SHIPMENT?

Has anyone here bought an 08 STI that was supposedly arriving by the end of the month, and didnt arrive then. How long after it was supposed to come did you wait? This is killing me...

It will come when it comes! Call your dealer to find out when it will arrive.

I'm in the same boat. =( It's killing my insides. I'm waiting on a base WR Blue, but trying to see if my dealer will trade for a WR Blue w/ BBS. I'm going insane waiting. Oh and yes I call my dealer or talk to them almost daily wondering what's up.

I called and they said it could come any day now. My dealer is going to call me tomorrow to see if its still on the boat or atleast at the port. Then this other guy says the ports in So Cal over here are striking... but i havent seen anything on the news so i have no idea whats going on lol all i know is i just want my car NOWwwwww

Yes. Not sure if this will help you tear more hair out or give you hope, but after hearing nothing definitive for weeks (original expected due date of 4/15 on an order placed the last week of Feb), I got a call this week that the car was built on 4/29, and has an expected arrival of May 16. (sounds way too fast on the delivery, but they had a VIN. We'l see, maybe it's strapped to the back of its own cigarette boat). If not, I can resume my usual hobby:

The silence/delay was reportedly due the entire shutdown of the production line on the stop sale, and 'reportedly' everything has resumed with all cars released being pre-cleared from the factory.

So, YMMV, but lots of info. activity this week after a long bunch of quiet.

how long have you been waiting? I ordered 2/19 and am finally picking it up tomorrow...

two months they told me "it's coming at the end of the month".. "it's on the boat".. etc.

damn 2/19! are you serious? i would've freakin' bought a different car. i think i've been waiting 2 weeks and it's already too long. i solved my problem by finding another dealer yesterday. i'm picking up my WR Blue tomorrow.

I ordered mine mid Jan. For an April build and with the stop sale it will most likely come by the end of June lol... but this will be my 3rd STi and I know it's worth the wait

I ordered my 08 8 weeks ago. I finally got a vin # yesterday. May 23 is supposed to be the day of arrival, but I was told not to bank on that day. My salesman said it could be 2 weeks before to 2 weeks after that day.

Okay but i never ordered mine... Mine was supposed to be the end of the month stock that they were getting anyways. So its not like i got mine custom ordered with its options n what not. So it should arrive a lot sooner than your guys right
