Good news guys, the production version is finished and we've already shipped out the first batch! The price is $999 for the complete catback system including hardware and gaskets. The downpipe is available for $549. Turbobacks are $1548.



The bad news is we can't keep enough on the shelves, but we're working on that. Assuming everybody already on the waiting list comes through, we have ~12 systems left on the next batch (due Friday May 9th). We're taking small deposits to hold spots on the waiting list, if you'd like to get added please give us a call - (310) 539-9010.



Here are some pics. Just a note, after trying about 20 different tips we gave up and decided to design and build our own. You won't find anything like this on our competitors exhausts.



The tips are hand made in California from 3" and 3.5" 304 stainless steel. It is a true dual wall design which will keep the outside from tarnishing (we had issues with this and our first design during track testing). It also reduces heat transfer so you're bumper won't get warped even with extended track use! Most important though, they look bad ass!

The catback is only available resonated. After extended road testing, we decided the non-resonated version had to much resonance for long trips. Since the STI is a hatch, it's critical to control the volume as it gets into the cabin much easier. I would call the exhaust the perfect volume - it has a great deep and aggressive tone from idle to WOT, but an appropriate volume for daily driving and street use. You won't be calling any unwanted attention from law enforcement.



Construction is all stainless. 3" mandrel bent to the muffler and then two 2.5" outlets. Fitment is EXCELLENT, I really spent the time to make sure this thing fits perfect everytime. Install is straightforward and can be accomplished at home or at any shop.



We also have our matching downpipe finished for the system. It's a 3" all the way through (never reduces). We are using a cast bellmouth. All downpipes are catted and use a super-high flow 200 cell metal substrate converter. This is the same cat we run on our 500+whp TimeAttack car. The price for the downpipe is $545.

Thanks for the info! I'm definitely buying an exhaust soon, and this may just be it. I wonder what competitor pricing will look like in comparison? I guess I'm just used to the price-points of CBs for less hardcore cars like my 06 Civic Si. What precisely gets changed out with a TBE versus just catback; it's simply adding the downpipe? Thanks!

The turbo back includes our catted downpipe while the catback does not.

What is your view on ceramic coating catted down pipes? I was thinking something along the lines of Swaintech on the full length since it is an outer coating only.

Seems like the cat would benifit by getting to temp faster and holding its temp, but don't know enough about the expansion issues...

The downpipe does not come with a bung, but we can add one if you need it. There is a small charge for doing this - please make a note in your order and we'll take care of it for you.

From what we've seen, its better to not coat the cat since that can actually cause it to overheat and fail, but if you wanted to have the rest of the DP coated, you'd by all means see the benefits.

Here are the preproduction videos, the sound will be pretty much the same as the resonated example since the only change was the tips.
