I designed the system to be modular, so you can run it as an axleback or run just the midpipe with a stock muffler.

HOWEVER, we won't be offering the system split up until we have better stock on everything - figure 1 to 2 months. Pricing to follow...

E cut option would be cool for those who feel like they want to be loud just for a few minuets or when you feel like going through a arking garage for the heck of it.

...I love setting off car alarms with my exhaust (race exhaust on motorcycle, the buell kinda sounds like half a suby)

Well I sprung for the full exhaust today! Dan's even going to add the AFR bung for me on the top of the bell mouth. Very nice guy! The wait begins!

i think a single exit would look really S**tty compared to the look of the quad exhaust. plus there is cut-outs for the duels, so the single would look out of place.
just my 02.

-shrug- I like the performance and sound of single exit titanium(free-est flowing and maximum weight savings).
I had it on my 350z, which also comes with a dual exhaust. It dropped almost 30lbs+ on the Z.Also, the pricing of this stainless exhaust borders on that of a full titanium one, (JIC and GReddy full ti's go for about $1300)
so i'll hold out for that.
But anyways, as I said, this Harman one does sound very nice.

Why dont you offer it as an option. If I was spending this kind of $$$ on a high end fancy exhaust I'd expect a bung standard if not optional on a 3" down pipe. The majority of the customers buying downpipes probably want to keep an eye on their AF ratio. I say install the bung and throw a plug in the parts bag for thoes who dont have a wideband.

It's gonna be a major drag on your do-it-your self installers to drag the down pipe to the muffler shop drop it off and probably have to wait all day and get charged $25 and gets returned with greassy hand prints all over the coating. Honestly this is going to happen to 50% of all your customers.

So please help us DIY guys out.

I really cant see an exhaust shop hookin it up on the price when you roll up in you brand new 08 STI with a box of pipes and a muffler in the trunk and want a quote.

I hope this doesnt come out the wrong way. I'm not trying to be an A hole just being realistic on how a $2 bung can save us alot of BS.

Thanks

Dan

I agree, not having a bung standard but offering to give one to the customer to do it on their own or pay someone else to do it isn't exactly convenient. For that kind of money I would expect a bung standard...

Just a reinforced threaded hole for a wideband O2 sensor. Cars with TBE are usually modified and many TBE owners will also want to install a wideband O2 sensor to monitor and/or log air/fuel data. (TBE = Turbo Back Exhaust)
