Its built for stock hangers so theres no reason to go out and get different hangers right away.

One would think that it's an easy modification to the muffler inlet pipe and flange location to connect to the factory exhaust. Cost would be substantially less to produce, a Magnaflow muffler like shown must be aprx $75-$100 at cost, and the custom bent piping and tips are produced in house, so figure labor costs and professional welds - the piping can't be THAT expensive.

Regardless of the breakdown, I'd rather pay up to $400 for a quality mass-produced item than let my local muffler shop hack something together.

How likely is this possibility, Harman Motive?
