0% financing -- is it extended past April??

I want to do a deal for an 08 STI but I also want to wait until the transaction is completed for the private sale of my current car that I've just taken a deposit from a buyer on today.

I should have the $14k in my hands from the sale of my car by Wednesday, but there is a chance I won't.

With my STI purchase, I wanted to take advantage of the SoA 0% APR for 24mo, but it looks like this promo is only through the end of April.

Does anyone know if the 0% financing incentives SoA has going on for April will be extended for May? I would hope they might be -- the economy and gas prices aren't getting better/lower...

Your only bet is an insider since a dealer wants to sell TODAY. And of course the manufacturer does not release that info because they'll just end up pissing off the dealer. But given the troubles of late with the STI stop sale, and the slowing (don't call it a recession) economy, I would be very surprised if they did not continue with the promo.

I agree that the dealer won't be exactly eager to tell me this info -- but I hope someone might know here.

I asked my salesman about this today and he said while interest rates are subject to change at pretty much any time, he doesn't imagine the rates will go anywhere within the immediate future.

I agree with mikalian, and would be very very suprised to see the promo end in April. If I really thought the promo would end for good Id buy now, but I am confident enough its gonna continue or at least come back quick that ima hold out and see what the dealers will do in a month or two.

hahaha holy crap, I have been waiting two months for my car, I will totally cancel the order if they don't honor the 0% financing package

They won't, if its not available as part of the national Subaru program for May (or whatever month you take delivery). Those promos are honored on delivery, not the order, unfortunately.
