scroth quick fit on my previous car, 05 sti was amazing........you won't move out of the seats no matter how skinny your but is, its fully street legal to even replace your seatbelt....although you can leave it totally hooked up but not belted in the front and run ur norm belt.......

wish they had em for my 06

I sat in the 08 seats at the auto show... too much space between the bolsters and not enough leg support. Subaru hit the nail on the head with the 2002-2003 WRX seats. I love mine... they hold me perfectly without being intrusive. Too bad they didn't stick with those seats.

Why does every person that hasn't driven an 08 feel the need to comment on how something from a previous model year (particularly the year the commenter owns) is so much better?

To make themselves feel better about owning their older STI... as the 08 clearly trumps the previous models...just look at all the improvements they made and hard numbers, they ignore that and go with their subjective feelings - "the old sti felt better and felt faster..."

Now, the new STI wasn't pink and blue enough for some people, oh christ... I wouldn't have care if it was pink and blue on the 08 STI although I prefer the gray,


...oh yeah OP, you can thank me and rest of people with a healthy of sense aesthetics for the gray interior do you see any bimmers, MB's or audis with crazy color schemes - and these cars are sort of a gold standard for car aesthetics...

this car is more mature in every way and clearly not for you, why on earth would you consider spending over 30K for a car that you HATE????

I only sat in the 08 seat for a few minutes at the dealer and they felt 100% better "all around" than my stock seats. The olders seats *may* be slightly better for performance use due to them being stiffer and having a little more bolstering for your @#$; however, the 08 seats are actually comfortable while the earlier models' usdm seats are not. I actually felt like I was sitting in the 08 seat, whereas I feel like I'm sitting perched on top of my stock seat.

My only complaint with the 08 seats was the leather. Putting leather on a seat in any type of performance car is @#$%ing stupid imo.

Actually Audi uses very similar looking pattern with ugly blue just like the sti in their s4's and i think even some rs4's so.........thats a stupid thing to say.......and who cares........my suby will smoke all those bimmers mb and audis boy without a problem.........they can take their interior and shove it.......

but I won't deny the 08 seats are better than my 06.
