Build date vs. delivery?

Did anybody that ordered an 08 get a build date of the car from the dealer, and if so, what was the length of time between then and the day it actually made its way to the lot after the boat ride?

I was told that my car would be a "February production" car. I ordered early January and received the car the first week of April. The build date on the door jamb shows "Feb-08"

allowing for shipping from the far east and customs that was rather quick

I ordered my car 7 weeks ago this Thursday. I have a vehicle order number, but no VIN yet. Hoping they are able to locate the car and give me a date this week.

Mine was supposed to be an april build but with the whole mishap I have no idea when they are going to build it, ship it or get it lol!!!!
