I got my WRB/BBS no Nav, off the floor, and it had been there 30 days or so. Invoice is up for debate basically due to the fact that the dealer could print out "Invoice" price sheets with whatever numbers they want...

The longer you wait, the less "New" your STi will be, in terms of release time, and the more willing the dealer will be to negotiate.. If you are a first adopter, you will still pay a premium.

I think allot of people in this forum use the invoice price listed at sources like Edmunds or alike. That seems to be the control number for this topic.
That number creates a base so that everyone can relate.

Invoice numbers can be found at cars101.com. Joe Spitz's unofficial Subaru website.

also, edmunds.com has the invoice pricing as well as an estimated market value depending on where you live. There are also handy financing calculators and tips on car buying. Word of warning, their calculator figures sales tax for MSRP instead of factoring the trade into the sale. This can make fee estimates and loan ammont artificially high.

The Atlanta area dealers don't seem to want to play ball. The lowest they seem to want to go is $250-$500 over invoice.

I have been spoiled in the past and gotten less than invoice. I don't know if I am willing to go over invoice for the car. Its not a lot over but its still over. I did try and get $500 under and they would not do it.

Invoice pricing is public information. It's not held in a secret vault by dealers. It's easy to find.

I talked to my salesman again and he said if he actually had inventory, he could probably get away with going $500 under invoice for me, but unfortunately there are none to be had in this state that fit my needs. They got a VIN for me but it was due in on April 25th, he doesn't know when it will be available. I'm gonna bug him about it today.

I got quoted $1000 below invoice via email, it is from a high volume dealership in Northern CA. Don't want to promote for them until I actually get the car.

You're getting all that stuff done, for 900 bucks? The parts and labor should be more than that...Kinda hard to believe...

Weird.

I wish I was getting it all for $900. Don't forget MSRP ($35,640) and Invoice ($33,655) are not the same thing. -Mike
