Wrecked 08 STi, first accident?

Not sure if this belongs to a member here but I hope the driver is okay. This does seem like the first wrecked 08 STi, saw this on nasioc and want to share it over here.

Happens often enough, and it seems like there's always a little batch of them right after a new model comes out. Some of the new owners have to learn the hard way that although the STi handles damn well, it's not invincible.

Well, at least it wasn't drop throttle oversteer and backwards into the pole.
