Default What I have noticed so far

1. I dont know if its penis envy or what, but online people go way out of the way to say that the 08 STI sucks. But you never see it vice versa, its almost like the owners of 08's dont really care. They put down the 08 to try to justify their own purchase.
2. The car is crazy fast and has the potential for tunig far and beyond anything else out there.
3. 2008 owners are good people most made sacrifices to get the car that make them passionate about there purchase.
4. All the colors are really nice. Everytime I open a thread with another color, I think man....I should of bought that color.
5. Gas mileage bites hairy balls.
6. The fully loaded STI is way to expensive.
7. I wonder if you bought the base STI how much would the BBS wheels cost. Because if its $2,000 then that would be a great set of winter tires, seeing that you get to keep the 5 spokers.
8. But all in all its funny watching every sports car go out of their way to get to you and pass you, all while you sit their stairing at them thinking, man thats one ugly car.

Something tells me this thread is going to become another 3-4 pages of "08 vs 04-07" bull crap....

No offense to you Falconeight, but this type of stuff tends to be the norm around here. I look forward to the day when the 08 is accepted, and not looked at as "The Ugly Duckling" of Subaru.

[RodneyKing] Why can't we all just get along? [/RodneyKing]

These are crazy fast:
0 - 120mph:

08 911: 11.5 sec

The rims cost 900 each if you get them seperate. So its only about 5000 extra after tires. Cheers.

I'm a 2008 STI owner and I definitely would not say the car is crazy fast.... It's a bit faster than your average rent-a-car, but that about all I'd give it.

Granted im a fan of the STI but...WHY!!?? A zo6 to a STI has to be disappointing at times in terms of overall power.
