Do 2008 STi's come standard with 17x10s?

Not sure if they fit.

but we decided to test them out anyway

17x10 275/40/17

This is Wales Garage's New 2008 STi.

we'll get some more goodies slapped on once the guy at Wales decides to do something!! what a slacker.

he just got the car at 4pm today, we should have at least have some coilovers on it

If he had spacers on there, it would stick out even further o_o
im gonna assume he had brake clearance already from his other STi, so it should be fine.

No way they have strut clearance issues. They are offset too far out for that. I'd guess they are 17x10 +25 or +30.

My prediction: Gunna rub the fender in the rear for sure.
Too much offset.

Harman had issues with +35 Volks w/ coilovers.

the V710s on a 10" wheel are massive. something upwards of 282mm in section width!!

the offset on the wheels is ~40mm there are no issues inboard what so ever.

now it was rubbing on the front fender liner at ~9 o'clock (looking head on at the driver's side front wheel).

we didn't drive it since we only slapped on two tires.

no spacers were needed to clear the brembos.

i run a 5mm spacer on my 05 to clear the coilovers.

I haven't personally measured the CCW offset, i'm going off what the original owner heard from CCW, i probably should measure it since i'm starting to believe it is lower than originally expected.

It would nice to have some 17" racing rims with thick tires!

I am curious to see what the car might look like with a set of Volk RE30 17x9 with 265/35(or 275/35) tires.

we'll be testing a few other wheels i've got laying around for clearance.

might even try to steal a wheel or two from a few other people.
