08 yes or no ???

i visited my subaru stealership yesterday and i found that they want my car more then i want a new 08. They offered me 28,000 for my 06 sti, but i dont really like the new hatchback. How do you guys like yours, those of you who have had previous years how to they compare?

Don't like it? Don't do it. That simple. If you don't need the added utility of the hatch and the extra "luxury" type additions that come with the new car, just stick with yours.

don't let other people justify your purchases, you'll just end up unhappy with them in the end if they aren't exactly what you want.

If you don't like the hatch and don't need it to haul stuff, then I would hold off. Sure the 08 has the potential to be faster, but not by enough to make your 06 slow. The only reason I could see taking the deal is if the $28k they offer you is significantly more than you owe on the car or think you can get for the car private party.

I tell you one thing though, I was on the fence when I had my 07. Now three and a half weeks later and 3 auto-x weekend later, I'm not looking back. With every day that goes by, it looks and feel much more substantial than my 07. 28k is a nice trading offer too by the way. I got 27k for my 07 when I traded it in.

not having a car payment is nice too, I would then say keep your current car, especially if you're happy with it.
