I painted the silver portion of the grill and left the black alone. On dgm it looks sweet.

I think it would look even better if you painted the silver plastic next to the logo a satin black and the mesh grill the same satin black to match

It would be a good look and all for the cost of paint.

i was thinking about getting one of these last month, but the sticker price was a bit much. of course it come painted already so that takes trouble out of finding a good shop to do that.

I would go with the sport grill if you couldnt decide to have a shop do it or just buy a new grill. When you hand your parts to " a shop " you dont always know what your going to get or how long it will last. With the sports grill its about the same money as going to a shop and you know what you are getting.

You ever wonder why there is not a thread dedicated to opinions about peoples opinions? Maybe you should start one?

Are there step by step instructions anywhere explaining how to get the grill off?

Thanks

I like the clean grille, but I think the subie emblem is too small compared to stock. I'd like to see something in between.

I like the painted stock grill a little better. I might change my mind if it were possible to have the sport grill with the great big pillar behind it deleted. It makes that so visible it looks kinda weird. Maybe in person it's not so noticable, but in the pics it draws my eye directly to it.
