GAH cant wait for my sways. I think Im going sways first and then rce yellows and that will be it. I LOVED coilovers on my GTI but they were too expensive and such a HEADACHE when front driver side went bad with around 8K miles on them.

^^^ I agree 100%. I've had coilovers on practically all of my cars, and while I can appreciate the improvement in handling compared to the stock suspension I'm not sure I want to deal with the issues such as additional noise, revalving, etc. I think I'm probably going to go with f/r sways and RCE yellows, too. Maybe I'm just maturing in parallel with the body style of the STi.

Granted it is a relatively brand new car, and R&D times are quite long... I'd rather wait another month than have them release some **** that would break or not fit properly and end up hurting the car more than doing good.

From what I've heard (I think from previous posts in this thread, but I'm too lazy to check), that the 2008 WRX is just now starting to have a good bit of aftermarket parts released, and that car came out months before ours.

I'm just hoping that a good bit of the parts that we want (exhaust/sways/etc) come out before Summer, so that we can enjoy them this year.

I'm unsure about the springs, but just on the previous page, RSD mentions that the sways are different lengths. Fitment issues detailed below:

Unless they are STi Specific, the bars will not fit. As the STi has a wider track then the 08 WRX and the LGT, and the swaybar from those cars is about 3/4" to short on each side.
The end links where stock that broke.
There should be no need to fit a WRX front sway on the car, as companies like Perrin have released a front sway for our cars already... I'm not 100% sure on the lead time, I thought I remember hearing that it got pushed back for some reason.

Springs are also different. I do not know what is exactly different. But all the manufactures use completely different part numbers.

There are a few options out there so far. I started putting together a list:

Hope some of you find it useful.

Best,

method.

No they haven't . The part they have listed on their site is the same as the WRX part number. SUS-121 isn't out yet.
