Which bars? Harmon motive sells the Perrin bars but they aren't out yet. I'm confused I think.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that someone tried it and the fit wasn't even close. I'm trying to find that thread now.

Found it....

I have the 2008 WRX Whiteline 22mm adjustable front swaybar and Harman Motive 22mm adjustable rear STi swaybar installed on my car along with front and rear 2008 WRX Whiteline spherical bearing links. No problems with the installation except for a minor fitment issue with the rear links. The rear spacers provided in the kit to connect the links to the control arms were slightly too thick and had to be milled down a little bit to fit properly. Other than this issue, everything else fit perfectly.

So far, I'm very impressed and happy with the improvement in handling around corners. The car stays flat going around corners and the steering response seem to have improved also.

I'm extremely confused then. Rally Sport and Perrin themselves have said the WRX and STI bars are different. I don't know how you managed to get yours installed.

The Front swaybar fits. I put it on the car and drove it for about 5 miles. BUT, the 1st uneven driveway I went up, snapped the front end link. The bar is short, and puts a bad angle on the end links.

Was that the stock end link that broke? And was it installed the right way? I was warned at Harman Motive that installing the front swaybar is easy but can be little tricky because it can be easily put on the car going the wrong way. After I had the swaybars installed, I drove it through the nearest winding road to see what a difference in handling the new sways made on the car. For the first few miles, I took it slow and easy on each turn and gradually increasing speed as I got more confident with the new swaybars on. I wasn't expecting much with just a swaybar upgrade, but was so surprised with the improvement that I think I'm gonna keep the suspension as is for now and delay getting coilovers and spend my money on a different upgrade. I've had the swaybars on the car now over a week and no problems, just the constant craving to go drive the car and do more upgrades.

Myles from RaceCompEngineering indicated that RCE springs for the '08 should be available soon. That will likely be my first suspension mod.

Yes the bar was put on properly.
Unless they are STi Specific, the bars will not fit. As the STi has a wider track then the 08 WRX and the LGT, and the swaybar from those cars is about 3/4" to short on each side.
The end links where stock that broke.
