Default most HP out of 08 without turbo mods

what is the most WHP I can obtain by AP, headers, exhaust, uppipe, etc...? without modifying the turbo. I'm talking about getting around 310-320whp on stock turbo. would I need a front mount intercooler? I am looking to make a VERY reliable daily driver/track car that I can work hard and push it through the paces without jeopardizing reliability.

^ Those basic bolt on mods, a proper tune, and with 93 oct and up should net you approx 300-330whp and 400 ish wheel torque depending which dyno you use.

Don't waste money on headers for 320whp. Uppipe, downpipe. I don't think you'd need an FMIC, but if you've got the cash it couldn't hurt. The stock TMIC is pretty large, bet you could sell it for a good bit of money if you take it off. What octane is available in Poland? Do you have ethanol or anything like E-85 in the US? In the Denver area (1.75km elevation), an E-85 tune can yield a 20-30whp gain. I bet the 08 could do it on the stock fuel pump and injectors, but I don't know for sure. If you carry your AP around you can swap to a different octane map if no local place has ethanol.

Yeah might not need headers. I would get Methanol 50-50 Injection personally lol to go along with that.

I know EWG is somewhat costly, but I still think it may be worth it.

my recommended recipe ===>
EWG($$, but faster boost, and more HP) plumbed back into dp, meth, catless DP(stock catback), cai intake, tune

A header has about the same bang/buck ratio as stage 2 does. I wouldn't skip it.

how much does headers help anyway?... i thought the gain is only like 10-15 hp on high rpm (4500+ rpm)?

Headers can yield as much as 18 whp with proper tuning but can be more trouble than they are worth.

I have the exact same question and want the exact same thing: A really reliable stage 2 that nets me about 300whp+ with a tune. I've thought about everything on this list except a FMIC (not really good for crash safety from what I understand) and METH (don't really know a lot about this mod, anyone want to share their experiences, please do).

The biggest gain with a header is through the midrange, where you can gain 25-30 ft-lbs of torque. Peak numbers are for magazines, what really matters is area under the curve.

Many people run aftermarket headers without any reliability problems at all (just don't buy APS ). If ultimate reliability is your concern, don't mod the car at all.

The ported stockers work okay, they have a similar bang/buck ratio as a real header -- that is, they cost half as much, and you gain half as much.

Porting is typically to help air flow. Usually when people say porting or polishing I think of a process in which the metal gets sanded down to improve airflow.
