You can only take the stock manifold so far no matter what you do to it, and extrude honing is expensive. Seems like a waste of money.

Can someone tell me what meth does exactly and how much wear and tear a kit like that incurs on the engine? I'd really like to know since I see a lot of folks using meth.

Well I plan to go full stage 2, probably a complete package including up-pipe and headers. Like I said, I want over 300whp and 400 ft-lbs of torque. I don't know if that's realistically achievable (without meth or upgrading the stock turbo).

using meth seems kinda expensive and risky... why subaru does not make H6 TT STI is beyond me... i dont think its about the wrc since the usdm is already .5L more than the allowed 2L displacement... im totally willing to pay $40k base for H6 TT.

most likely it's a cost issue.
