Anybody know if a Rear Camera is an option for nav?

And if you have any details on it please let me know, My gf is planning on gettin a g35 sedan and she fell in love with the rear camera on that car(it has a line that is drawn like a parking assist or something) She wants me to get it on my car too since I'm teaching her how to drive stick for a while she might in the future use my car on special occasions

... Anyway I been doing some research and I can't find any info out. I have read about the Tribeca having that as an option and figure that it would be compatible with the nav on my STI but I want to know if it has the same feature where it will have that line drawn and if it turns on automatically when you put your car in reverse if anyone knows please let me know. Much appreciated

Only in Japan. Not for us in the states.

So, could you buy the JDM parts and use it with the USDM nav?

Yea thats kinda confusing, In japan is the actual unit seperate then the one we get? Because from the looks of it that tribeca nav unit seems to be the same as the one on the STI.. Do you think we can just get the same camera they have in the tribeca and it would work?

Not according to Japanparts.com The camera part number is: 317-118-061

Here is the description:

Use with Navigation system. Need Separating harness (317-115-051-N) to equip (Need one for a whole car, so if your vehicle already have Separating harness #317-115-051-N, JDM Navigation system, Subaru optional meters or Remote engine starter, then separating harness #317-115-051-N is not necessary). Might need some cables and harnesses for some Navigation (we can NOT supply this). Only for JDM model. Does NOT fit for STI

I just saw a post on the nasioc website with someone having a rear view camera in their sti but it didnt have the green yellow red lines like in the tribecca version
