Default SI and Check Engine Light blinking

I was driving home from my friend's house and I noticed that the SI, check engine, and cruise control lights were flashing. This happened after I took a corner hard and the traction control/VDC light came on for a second. Has anyone else ran into this problem yet? I think it's just the result of me driving like an ***. I read the manual and it says to consult the dealer. I'm a bit worried and will have the STi at the dealer on Monday, but I'm not sure if it is alright to drive the car still.

Pull the codes with a code reader of some sort.
Post here and I may be able to help.

Do what ploney said and then disconnect the battery to reset the ecu. Make sure you get the code first!

Do you have any modifications? Were you low on fuel at the time?

Interesting. Definitely have the codes pulled. I'm interested in why the SI lights would be blinking...that usually indicates a malfunction in the system, but I've only seen that for ABS, the DCCD, and VDC. I didn't know that the SI drive could indicate a failure too.

The CEL and the SI drive lights flash when a code is stored. DCCD gets stuck in auto and SI drive goes to S too.

Thanks a lot. The SI-Drive was stuck in S and DCCD was also in automatic mode. I brought it back to the dealer and it turned out to be a blown fuse.

Do you happen know which fuse it was?... I checked the box on the engine all fuses seems to be fine but the one under the wheel is a pita to pull, I went through one row and said forget this. I'm having the same problem. Fricken car with 900 miles on it and CEL already blinking... with no mods too.

I called Subi they weren't much help since the service dept. its closed until Monday... I can't stand drivin this car thinking it has a problem, looks like I'll be hitting up autozone later to get the code to see exactly what's goin on.

BTW: [S] is locked in and can't go to [SI] while blinking, CEL is blinking, VDC is in amber blinking, Cruise is also on blinking.... wtf right???

its on the passenger side. Blue fuse i beleive. I had the same thing happen and i just pulled it out and put it back and it worked. The fuse had current.

Look under the dash for 3 or so fuses on the passanger side.

When I got my oil changed, they unplugged the MAF to check the air filter. Then had me start the car to check oil pressure, but forgot to plug it back in. Then they did, but I still had thrown 2 codes. I cleared them with my scangauge II, and haven't returned. One of the codes was high voltage to maf I cant remember the other, but something similiar.

Can you get some codes pulled?

I'm going to guess that the fuse he fried was for an O2 sensor.

This has happened to me twice so far, both times I was doing something stupid. I've heard some guys who auto-x their cars blow this fuse as well.

The first time it happened to me, I took it to a dealership to get checked out. That's how I learned about the fuse box on the passenger side (you won't find it in the owner's manual, and it took the shop nearly an hour to find it themselves).
