Default I'm Old - HELP!

I'm sure I am one of the oldest 2008 owners on the site.I'm having problems getting in and out of my car.(it's to low)

Does anyone make an aftermarket lift kit for the 2008 STI yet? It would really help.

Thanks

Mabe a quick release steering wheel would help? And sti's are high enough man just get some thing you can hold on to to help you get out.

I never say this, but I think you bought the wrong car. I encourage you to check out the new Forester; get an XT and juice it up a bit under the hood a bit, it'll be darn near an STi in power.

yep. Bought the wrong car. The FXT sounds like a better fit for you.

My pops (56) went from a 911 Carrera to a Cayenne Turbo. He used to look like a fat little baby rolling out of the 911. Finally got something more practical without loosing too much performance wise.

I'm sure you can get the STi pushed up a bit...anything can be done with the right amount of money.

How correct this statement is! My STi feels like a Jeep Wrangler compared to my 2003 C5. The belly gets in the way. By the way I'm 46!

I know what you mean. My seat is all the way down for headroom (I'm tall) and it is a bit of a struggle. Try leaning to the left and then work both arms in a kind of rowing motion. If your arms are long enough you'll have the back of your upper arms pulling you out by the door frame. It works for me, anyways.
