2008 sti ac belt removal/install tool

I want to put a lightened pulley on my car but do n ot see a tensioner for the ac belt. I assume there is a special tool. Does anyone know what it is and where I can get one or have the tool part #?

Hi,
There is no adjustment on the 08 for the air con belt. You must cut the belt off and use the subaru belt replacement kit that comes with a funky thing to roll the new belt back onto the pulley.

Theres oem parts you can get ahold of that allows you to take the belt off like previous years, im pretty sure all you need is the belt tensior parts like the older models have to take off the belt without cutting it.

Agreed. The holes are in the block for the belt tensioner. I would get the tensioner and longer belt.
