HIR bulbs on 08 sti? Anyone?

I was thinking of getting the 9006 and 9005 equivalent in the HIR bulbs from HIR Headlights 9011 9012 bulbs to replace my high beams and fog lights.

Did anyone install these yet? Are they ok to use as daytime running lights? I've done some research and everyone seems to love them, but I havent heard of anyone putting them in a 08 STI yet.

I'm not sure how well they'll work as fog lights because of the extra output, but I'd certainly be willing to try them. As for DRL compatibility there should be no issues -- they'll just be brighter than the stockers. HIR bulbs are a huge improvement over stock bulbs; you'll love the extra light.

Ya I wanted to make them more of a driving light - I know the reflector is probably not suited to that, but I figure it cant hurt. The stock fog lights are just about useless for me because we dont get fog here.
