Gil, when you did yours did you happen to notice how the foglight housing is attached? I'd like to pull them and paint them from gray to black, I imagine it would be easy.

HIR 9011 for the highbeams. easy to modify to fit the highbeams. its a much needed improvement over stock 9005.

this is my second vehile i have fitted with 9011 HIR into the highbeams, and i will never go back to stock. its like the first time driving with HID headlights, you never go back to halogen unless you have halogen projectors.

yes, it would be easy. once you take off the bumper, it's held in place with a couple of fasteners which you would screw off (heh, I said screw off, but I digress). Anyway, once you get the front bumper off, you'll see exactly what needs to be done to remove the housings.

GilMikalian/Talsnic,

Did you have to do any additional wiring fuses etc.., or just swap the bulbs for the foglights?

Thanks,

Again, I have not bought or used these bulbs, but based on what I've read, simple plug & play with no mods to wiring since the power draw is same as stock.

Woops No, no additional wiring for the fogs either, same 55W as the stockers.

either HIR or other fogs can be used with no issues. they both pull the same amps. the extra light from HIR comes from the reflecting infered heat making the filiment hotter, thus more light.
