This is my third Subaru. My first Subaru was a 1988 GL wagon ( - 98HP).

The 2nd was an '05 STI.

Just to add to my first response...I'm 25. I've had an 05 WRX, and 06 WRX and now the STI. It will be used heavily for autocross and for street racing against v6 Mustangs in school zones and church parking lots.

36...37 in about 2 months. Married, one baby and one on the way. Got tired of having to drive the wife's ride (FX35, nice ride in its own right but not very fun) so was able to off-load my MX-5 for a more practical car...that goes like stink!

I got the STI cause of the hatch, 4 doors and AWD....did I mention performance? STI is probably the best car out there when you take into account practicality, price and you guessed it, performance.

Some more details - I'm 25, single, no kids, own a house. I'm able to afford it because I went to school and got a good job.

35, married, one 5 year old.

I run a nuclear accelerator and coach college volleyball part time. I bike, ski, snowboard - anything outdoors. Had an 02 WRX wagon - didn't by the STi because it wasn't offered as a wagon. Had a 6 speed from an STi ready to ship the day the pics came out of the new car - canceled the order, gave my dad my WRX and picked up my new 'station wagon'. My daughter called the WRX 'scooby'; she calls this one 'Vader'.

22, single, graphics designer... I picked mine up on Saturday. This is my second STI.

Prior to my 05 I had wanted one since I was a kid... When I could finally afford one, Is old my Civic SI and bought one. Moved on up to the 08 and loving it so far. My Civic SI was a hatchback and I love hatches, so the 08 for me is basically a mix between the looks of my 03 SI and the power of my 05 STI. I'm in love.
