i have an 07 SWP sti and I know a couple people who have 08's, all at least 30. I have a feeling the 08s are geared more toward the older crowd. I see a lot of younger people, my age (22) driving previous years, but none for the 08's yet.

Sold my 2007 Porsche 997 Twin Turbo, Have not looked back. Love the look. Love the hatchback, fits skis, hiking and camping gear. 31 Years old.

I'm 30, married, with 2 kids. I've been lusting after an STi since 2005, having ridden in a colleague's 'Bugeye'.

Took delivery of my 08 STi two weeks ago....lovin' every moment of driving it.
Disliked the hatchback setup initially, but it's grown on me. Still trying to learn as much as I can on handling a manual car so I can autoX later on.

I'm 22. I just bought an '08 DGM STi and I'm picking it up in 3 days. It's going to be my daily driver (I have a track car, not a Subaru), but I'm really excited. Although, if I didn't need a car with AWD then I would be driving an NSX right now, but the STi was the best "practical" car for me.

Im 17. live at home. saved for 2 years working full time and goin to school. dad financed(i dont have credit...). put a few thousand down. usin the rest for payments and gas and insurance. still havent had it over 90. 4 months old.

Whenever I come across the term mid-life crisis, I'm reminded of a theory that states that mid-life crisis is bull and that we've always wanted these things, but for whatever reason, we've held off on going through with the deed. Mid-life crisis is a myth. The wants don't just appear. The things that prevented you from getting what you got are no longer in the way, or at least enough of a reason NOT to pull the trigger. Interesting theory. I think it makes a lot of sense. I figured this was somewhat apropos to the thread.

And I thought I was hot s__t with my hand-me-down '84 V-8 Firebird when I was 17! Way to go. I'm hoping you're a lot more mature than I was at 17 because if I had an STI at 17, I don't think I would have made it to 18.
