Does the Cobb downpipe still have the 2.5" bottle neck at the end?

Keep in mind that this is a prototype. It will go through a couple revisions before we decide to go into production.

That BOV sounds great. I miss hearing that sound like I could on my Speed3 with the MS CAI. How far out are we looking? And will the OTS Cobb Stage 2 map good for your downpipe + exhaust + BOV?

But I dont want it to drone when cruising on highway speeds because it will get quiet annoying. Any info about it droning at cruising speeds?
+1 on the droning. If it drones, that will be a no go for me. If I want drone, I'll drive my RX-8

What expected release date, this sounds awesome? What are the gains you are seeing in general?

I actually really like the raspiness and general sound of it. However, I also feel its too loud and definitely cant deal with droning, too old for that! I wanted to stay with all COBB parts, but that sounds like it may be too loud for me. I am at stage 1 now with the Accessport and I am buying the air box as soon as its ready (hurry up! ) and will also buy the DP so I can get it protuned to stage 2 all at the same time (Dont want to pay for two protunes). If the exhaust sounds good and isnt too loud, I will do a full TBE. Ideally, I'd love to have something maybe only 15% louder than stock, but with more character (Raspiness, backfiring/burbling, etc, I love).

What we really need is a butterfly valve like the new vettes have. Thats the best of both worlds, but based on what I've read, and my own minor experience with tuning these cars, I dont think the finicky subaru tuning could deal with one.

BTW, can you take a video of inside the car, and keep the audio quality on high? This would help us gauge better.

Uhm, any eta on the air box?

Definitely dig it, if you can tone it down a bit and resonate it more or something I'll be all over it - that sound is great, but closer to WOT heh. A bit too much of a cop magnet for me at the moment although I would love to hear that sound all the time

I ran a helix catless dp and a cobb catback on my 04 and really liked the sound, but it was on the loud side. I am sure with a res and cat it would be a lot more mature for the street.
