I agree, I'd like something with a deeper throaty tone

I went past Cobb and saw the thing yesterday. It looks really good in person. I was surprised how much better the larger outlets look in person. (Because size, is, of course, the main visual difference from stock.) They still haven't quite gone to production. 1-3 months was the loose estimate I was given yesterday. They are still fiddling with the inner/outer port differing discoloration that the stock setup also suffers from.

That freaking sucks! I'm getting ready to go to Stage 2, cobb dp, and a protune. Was hoping that the exhaust would be ready within the next month. Let's go!

I say go Stage 2 with the stock cat-back and you'll experience 99% of the power you'll get from a full TBE. Only your ears will know the difference. Hold off on the pro-tune till you get the CBE because the OTS maps are perfectly fine for a DP only setup.

There must be like four of us out there that actually like the stock four tips. I do. Although I'd love a nice, deep sounding slightly louder exhaust. With four tips...

After further thought, I actually like the raw tips (just not the puny stock ones).

I may end up going for the magnaflow. The exhaust is taking forever

WOW a few more months....

Well after a year wait it better be the **** and it better fit like a glove. Oh and it better be a good price since it seems that they must be saving a ton of $$$ on materials because they have kept us waiting forever and loosing customers by the day to magnaflow, HM, perrin, ect.

Why does it take so long for the aftermarket to catch up? In the truck marketplace aftermarket parts avaiable right away the first few months of a new model. And im not talking about axle back exhaust, Im talking full blow'n suspension systems, bumpers, grille's, downloaders, you name it, the're on it.

I like the deeper tone of the magnaflow, but I do not think you can beat cobb build quality.
