Default After 1,000 miles, who changed your oil?

Did you go to dealership or just have Jiffy Lube do it? Also, what type of oil did you put in at 1,000 miles? Synthetic, or keep it regular?

About 1,050 miles with Castrol dino. Will likely keep it on dino for the duration.

Why? Is there no PepBoys, Autozone, Kragen, Napa, etc. anywhere near you? I used to live in California and I could always find anyone of these stores. With my car, it's always worth my effort and time to avoid stripped or cross threaded drain bolts and filters.

With that said, I used 5W30 dino oil on my first change at 1000. Having the dealer do the first one may be a good thing just so they can break loose the filter and drain plug because it is on extremely tight from the factory.
