IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | On a car I used to have one oil change the shop left the oil cap off, on the next "free, we want to keep your business" change they left the dip stick laying across the engine. Ever since I do all my own. Stock filter I was able to remove by hand. It was tight but I used one of those discs of flat rubber to help. What wrench do people use. The one I have is almost the right size but doesn't quite fit. OEM is using black filters again. Is there a Subaru application with a longer filter that will fit? I know there is in the aftermarket and will probably switch to a Wix or something after the filters I bought at the dealer run out. Steve This ad is not endorsed by this member.
