91 Octane Mapping

I live in SoCal (Orange County) can anyone recommend a IWSTI vendor that can set-up my car for 91 octane fuel? Or should I just cough up the cash for my own unit.

Well, I guess you have two main options, get an off the shelf map by buying an AccessPORT or getting a Pro-Tune. You'll need to buy the AccessPORT and then take it to a shop to get a Pro-Tune. I've had Harman Motive in Torrance work on my car with success. In fact, I'm taking my car in later today to get a Pro-Tune. This obviously is not the only option but was the best choice for me since I wanted to go to a reliable tuner who knows what he's doing.

I'm not really sure what you're asking. Even if you find a local vendor that will set you up, you still need to buy your own AP.

there is only one accessport for the '08 sti

so you should not have a hard time figuring out what to get.

Waktasz, I really don't know what I'm asking...I've been restoring 60's muscle cars for the last 20 years,so all this mapping,and AP,and pro tune stuff is kinda new to me.What's a good A.P. What kind do you have?
