Default 08 sti with alignment problem?

well to start it off, i just bought my white/gold/navi sti on sunday the 9th of this month and ive drove it back from the dealership about 60 miles from my house and now i have about 110 miles on it total. on local streets n freeway driving i notice the car will pull to the right, but when parked the steering wheel is pretty straight, but on the freeway with speeds around about 65-70 i get about 10 seconds without holding onto the steering wheel before it starts pulling to the right n on the streets less. im wounder if i should take it back to the dealership? i did call them today n they said its covered under warranty but i do not want to drive 60 miles back but of course i can take it to a dealer thats more near to me.
im planning to take my car in tmrw to a local shop that i go to, their not a subaru specialist or anything but they do complete auto repair and their alignment machine is the digital ones. i was wounder what you guys think? just trying to get some opinions? thanks
But considering its a brand new car thats about 40k its pretty disappointing. im have them check all the fluids too while im there just in case.

check the air pressure first. second most roads have road crown to keep the water from collecting on the roads. you will need to make sure that the road is completely flat.

that said. usually a stock alignment from the factory sucks. spend the 50-70 bucks and have a real shop do a good alignment on the car.

I have the same thing... Dealership said the air presure was low on the right rear...

After I drove off it felt a little better, but still the slight pull to the right.>

Going back to make the Allign her.!

Ha, mine pulls right too. Thought maybe I did it on the test drive

I'm gonna have the dealer look at it soon.
I thought maybe with the crowning of the road, in conjunction with the wideness of the tires, may have something to do with it too.

Weird... my is as straight as an arrow.

The dealership I bought my STI from sends all their cars to get an alignment as part of the PDI. Shouldn't this be the case for all cars?

when i got my 06 from the dealer (brand new car), it drove pretty bad for a performance car, i took it in for an alignment (not at dealership). the OEM alignment was so off, i dont think i could have messed it up that much in my own garage !! it was a new car after the alignment. max camber, 0 toe all around. works for me.

Other than the AP, my first "mod" is going to be a performance alignment from a reputable shop. Don't both with the dealerships as most of their machines are precisely calibrated. The '08 I test drove pulled to the right very noticeably and the steering wheel wasn't centred either.

It cost me $140cdn to get a performance alignment with my camber bolts mounted. Best investment I ever made. I'm not going to do the camber bolts right away on my '08, but Jeff (Sponuagle) managed to get -1.2 upfront on the stock bolts which is a HUGE improvement over stock.

My car pulled to the right too when it was new. I had the dealership align it and now it drives straight but the steering wheel sits a little to the right still.

Oh well nice to be different.

It sounds like this is a pretty common issue.
