GotSTI, did you install them yourself or did you have a shop do it, if so which?

Thanks!

I asked the EXACT question earlier in this thread but no one was able to answer it. The brown/yellowish tint makes the tails look old and nasty... they look like my grandpa's 1985 camry headlight... yellow and blurry.

I believe they are brownish color because of the chrome. I had the darkest tint available, hoping to minimize the brownish look. There's nothing you can do about it, I would suggest going for red overlays.

they aren't ever going to be completely black, if they were you wouldn't be able to see the lights through them. the chrome inside of the tail lights is reflecting direct sunlight in my pics giving them the dingy brown/yellow look. Once I can get the car clean (and keep it clean longer than 12 hrs) I'll take some pics of the setup (headlights, tail lights, etc) and post them here. hopefully this weekend will cooperate.

Thanks!

I had a professional tint guy do it. It was difficult for him. You will definitely need a heat gun and a ton of patience. Doing it without the heat gun = fail.

Sure - I was there once about a year or so ago.

It is the tint Guy at East Coast Customs in Worcester. You could try calling them, but I think any local tint shop could do it.

still thinking about it Alex. I really wanna do something more drastic, could you look into getting a set of tail lights? I have a couple of ideas.
