Default I-Drive and UTEC Protune

Hello guys,
After more than three months of research, I decided to go Stage 1. I will be using the Turbo XS UTEC and will have it protuned by the good guys at Vividracing. I will use the UTEC b/c my car has the "world market" (I live in Juarez, Mexico) ECU and I need it to work together with the UTEC. I believe that is the only way I can go (am I correct). ANYWAY, my question is, is it posible to use the I drive for three different maps, or will the UTEC just boost everything in each setting (I, S, S#) because itīs working parallel to the stock ECU?
Thanks for any imput and I will keep you posted .

I can tell you that in the US, you get a single map and the I, S, S# change the parameters accordingly.

The SI-Drive will only work with the stock ECU, so the UTEC will ignore it. However, if you use the stock boost control, an AccessPORT tune of your stock ECU could give you different boost levels. Either way, the throttle mapping will change with the SI-Drive settings, UTEC or not.

I ran a UTEC on my 08 (the first 08 with a UTEC) back in December.

Remember to recalibrate the boost sensor. The 08s have a new map sensor.

i'd go with the COBB AP. its much more user friendly and cobb knows their stuff

i'd stay CLEAR from Vivid racing and the crooks that own that place. they like to knock off competitors parts. Mine included. and rip off customers. there are TONS of honest vendors that you can and should deal with before you spend a cent ( or peso in your case) with that dishonest company. FYI they also own Agency Power.
Theres a reason why they have been banned from many forums over the years.

I guess I did my research with the products and not the vendor. I did a little search and found out about a lot of guys not being very happy with vividracing (they would be messing with the wrong mexican though, setting things right is what I do for a living, a very good living ). Any more info would be greatly appreciated (especially about good honest vendors in the phoenix area).
