Default Hi all~~updated!

Just picked up my 08 STI in DGM last week. Currently have about 190 miles on the clock. So far only install clear bra from Aero Tect pretty much covered the front end of the car, rear quarter panel (prevent paint chipping), headlight. So far love the way the car drives and can't wait to break her in.

I am in the Ontario (909) area but usually around Pomona, Rowland Hts. Any other 08 STI owner close by. Below are some pictures I took after 5hrs car wash. 3 layers of wax on her now, hope it will help the paint with the chipping issue.

This was done by Aero Tect in city of La Verne, the following is their website Auto Home and ask for Fransisco (owner) very nice guy to deal with. This is my 3rd car that he did and couldn't be happier with the result. I did the hood, fender, front bumper, headlight, mirror, whole side skirt on both end, rear quarter panel (rear door). He also did the A pillar. I paid $850 for everything installed.

Hope that help.

Yes Aerotect is a very good company. Francisco does an amazing job. All the Lexus guys go to him. Did you get a discount from him? I paid $550 total for mine on my IS250. This included, extended hood, full bumper, headlights, fog lights, both side mirrors.

Did he put the clearbra on on your entire hood?

How do you like the Navi?

Yup, the pictures are with the clear bra everwhere on the car. I believe they use ventureshield.

haha, thats funny because I'm going to trade my IS250 in for an STI in 2009.

How do you like/dislike the STI compared to your IS250? Anything you miss about your IS250?

Well, I love my IS250, comfortible, get good gas mileage and most of all the car looks awersom from any angle (chick magnet car). I guess the only thing the IS250 need is the power which I am sure Lexus will do something about in 2009 model.

As for the STI, I am still trying to get used to the way the car behaves. It's a very solid car, and drives very nice I am still breaking in the car so haven't had a chance to really open her up. But in all honsety, I think my IS250 interior is a bit nicer than the sti. I know both cars are not in the same category.
