White without the red ring looks pretty nice.

man.. please dont ruin it with a time attack theme.. im hoping that's dead and buried.

to be honest, the stock silver looks really nice on the red..
being someone that has done black, i would go med. gloss if you do it.. gloss looks too bling and the flat jus looks ghetto..
i honestly think the white would be hot.

random question/opinion: why would you buy both an sti AND an evo... if you can afford that, why not just pick one and make it a beast for less money than having the two cars?

1) I´m pretty much off the time attack idea. I also think it has been overdone.

2) I like the silver, don´t get me wrong. I´m just thinking of different colors for the wheels to make them a tad different. Not sure I´ll even do anything with them.

3) Because I´m not the tuner type of guy. I love the STI and always have, but I´ve always wanted an Evo for quite some time. I ordered the STI back in october and I also wanted the Evo X, but I couldn´t decide if I should cancel my STI order or buy the X from the States, so I ended up getting them both. But for how long I´ll keep them both, I don´t know. Depends on who´s better as a daily driver

Why spend the cash for the BBS rims only to paint them? Why not get the base rims and buy some better after market rims in the color you want (which will be tougher unless you go without poweder coating)?

I read elsewhere on this board that BBS had file for bankruptcy and that deliveries of BBS combo'd subies might be delayed until a resolution is reached.

First of all I´m not sure I´m going to do anything with them. This is just a speculation. I love the silver BBS color.

Second, I´m not actually spending more on the BBS option (Spec.R model). The dealership here is giving me a good deal since this is my fifth new Subaru I´m buying from them, and I´m getting it for almost the same price as the base model.

Third, the BBS bankruptcy is just a rumour and has been thrown onto forums like this before and always wind up being untrue. They might be having some issues, but they always survive it seems. This doesn´t affect my STI since it was manufactured on february 9th, left Japan on the 23rd and is scheduled to hit Rotterdam harbour March 28th (one month.. shees), about week later it should be here.
