I'm pretty sure the evo doesn't come with a radio for that price.

YUP . . . southcoast has been giving some unreal deals on their EVOs. Head over to EvolutionM.net and check their ratings and what not with those guys. That place is pretty well known.

To bad in my neck of the woods BBS packages STi is 37,695 . . . no thanks

The red prices are what Southcoast is selling them for (I'm not selling cars). It includes destination.

It does. You might be thinking of the last generation RS versions that were stripped down.

South Coast Mitsubishi is the most successful Evo dealer in the country. They move tons of Evos yearly.

But, I'm still not convinced that the Evo even LOOKS like a $30,000 car. It just feels so damn cheap in person.

A lot of dealers do drop the heck out of the price in states where you have to pay sales tax.

As everyone mentioned, South Coast Mitsubishi's EVO prices are the best you will find (I believe you have to be a member of EVOm to take advantage of the pricing). They sell a lot of EVOs. A saw a picture of their back lot once with 40-50 new EVO IXs!

Maybe it's time for a trip to SoCal, pick up an Evo and drive it back to Canada. I did it once... from SoCal to Victoria, best drive of my life (yet!). We're having some great weather down here

I was at a Subaru dealership near Seattle and a salesman showed me a Silver BBS 08 STi that a guy bought from Edmonton. He said because of the weak US dollar he was saving $10k by buying the car in the US. I believe mine was $35ish with BBS.

I like the practicality of the STI and prefer it, but that's a 10% price hike over the Evo, which is at least an equal in performance.

I think Subaru dealers are going to need to reconsider their pricing strategy.

I don't know where this is but around the DC area you will be hard press to get prices on either one this low. Here is MSRP plus lol... buy one already what are you waiting for

Before you run out and get an Evo to save a few thousand bucks, make sure you know what you're getting into. Go read the X forums on EvoM.net and read about the issues people are having with their Evos. Personally, I'd wait to see if Mitsubishi can work out the problems.

just checked Edmunds.com
Subaru is offering 0% of 12-24mo, 3.9% for 36-63mo, and 4.9% for 72mo for All Impreza including the STi, insane rates.
