| Senior STI Driver | Hi Guys, My wife and I have noticed that the passenger airbag on/off light near the clock will often show it as being off when she is sitting in the passenger's seat. There doesn't seem to be any consistency to how or when it is incorrectly off. Sometimes it is off when I first start the car with her sitting there, other times it turns to off after having been on for a while. Sometimes restarting the car will fix it, other times it takes getting out and back in, etc. Sometimes it just won't show on no matter what. Has anyone else seen this? --Josh This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

The smaller the girl the more frequent it will be off depending how she is sitting. This is normal Last edited by chmura; 02-26-2008 at 05:58 PM. |

| Senior STI Driver | Normal as in it happens on everyone's car, or normal as in it is operating within the design specs? I'm not going to be happy if someone hits me and the airbag doesn't go off because my wife wasn't sitting just right. I have a call in to the dealer to have them take a look at it. |

| Senior STI Driver | Does the trick of plugging and unplugging it 20 times in row immediately after turning on the key work for the passenger seat as it does for the driver's? |
