Default Interior big enough to hold a bike?

I've interested in hearing if any mtn bikers on here have tried putting their bikes in the inside with one of the seat folded down and the front wheel removed. does it fit? I'm pretty sure you either have to remove the seat or drop the seat to clear the ceiling but wonder if that's all you have to do.

thanks

if you tilt it alittle bit i think it could fit with a cooler, and other goodies.

I couldn't fit my bike in the trunk of my 06 with the front wheel off.

trunk with both wheels off works for me. won't need to do that anymore, just ordered a hitch and bike carrier...

I haven't put my bike into mine yet, but I'm sure that it will fit laying on it's side.

I'm curious if it would fit vertically without the front wheel and the seatpost lowered or removed. If so, you could rig up a bike-tight type fork mount on the center headrest's rails. I'm thinking that it might fit, but it would be close.

It would definitely fit. I used to put my mountain bike in the back of my 04 Mazda 3, with the front wheel still on, all the time.

I put my Santa Cruz Chameleon in the other day without a problem. I folded both seats down and took the front wheel off.

However, you guys that get a hitch carrier, please post pics. I would like to see what it looks like. cheers

that's what i wanted to hear thanks! I thought about bringing my bikes to the dealer but that would be funny. I run a 26'er and 29'er so i'll just measure and see how it'll work
