I love my wife's Garmin Nuvi and see no reason to spend a bunch more money on an in-dash unit. I thought about rigging up a way to mount my Nuvi that attached in the compartment/shelf, but I've ended up just throwing the beanbag mount up in front of the clock.

I (formerly JWA) didn't note the part number, but the next time that I pull it I'll take a pic. I did mention it to the guys at SubaruGenuineParts.com and they said that they would look into it.

I called a couple places in the states and they didnt have the part in their database. I had to order mine from Japan. I got it today! This is the only info that came in the package:

you can see the part # there I guess.

what are the wires that we use for the swi-jack? I'm also about to put in an Alpine and got all the stuff but just need to know the wires. If you had a pic of that would be good.

Thanks,
-Mark

PAC has the instructions with the correct wires on their site now. I don't remember which wires they were off hand. I do know that they are on the main harness, not the smaller harness that you'd assume.

No, the harness isn't the same as what was in the '07. That would just be too easy . Crutchfield has a listing for it, but it's marked as being for '07+ Nissan's or something. I found one on eBay for a couple bucks cheaper.
