I bought my 06 new with 0% financing, so subaru has run deals like this before... and you can absolutely beat them up over price and keep the 0%. I paid below invoice.

LOTS of dealers says 0% APR but once you start negociating off of MSRP no more 0% APR for you.

Once you negociate (say invoice) can you still get 0% APR???

Lots of times this is just a marketing tactic for you just to get into the dealer.

I rather get invoice then get 0% APR.
You can definitely negoiate the price. The financing is a completely separate issue and have them agree to sell it to you at invoice before you say you want the 0% apr financing. you can do both.

Thumbs up Re: CONFIRMED: 0% financing available on the 2008 STI

Slightly off thread but still relevant to this conversation (somewhat)

I called SOA regarding the 500 dollar incentive they were giving out at the auto shows.

I don't want to wait until the NY show and was wondering if I can get that in advance.

The rep stated that she'll check on it, but also mentioned there may be some customer loyalty incentives to be had if you were/are a previous Subaru owner.

Stay tuned, I will hopefully have an answer on this.

0 percent +some other cash(TBD) = very good deal.

I think that's definitely lower than invoice (my guess is $500), unless it doesn't include the destination charge. My car was similarly equipped, and I paid invoice...about $500 more than that figure. That's a great deal!

Hopefully I will be able to get a similar deal when time comes.

I got 3.9% for 60 months on mine, which I was happy with. 0% is nice, but who can afford that payment for 2 years?!? Not me!

Personally I think its just a gimmick to get people in the showroom. I don't know anyone that uses 2year loans. If you have that kind of money to put in every month, might as well buy it outright, or get something better!
