yes! more or less like that.
but make it a dual pod option also. basically, i'm thinking of 4 different variations on that one.
single pod left, single pod right, dual pod left, dual pod right.

that way you have the option to run one, two, three or four gauges, nicely flowing on top of your cluster/dash.

I think the steering column may be the way to go especially since the parking light switch is gone (how will we make fun of noobs now???).

I'll admit, when I first got my 04 wrx.... that damn switch drove me crazy one night, or not knowing where it was....

I'd do that as well. Defi - DIN-Gauge

i don't like the steering collumn gauges, as they block the view to the instrument cluster.
i used to have the autometer dual gauge cluster on my '04, and that one was somewhat acceptable, it didn't block too much.

I am installing my D3 this week when the rest of the parts I need come in, so I can't do a single din setup. I have done that before though and liked it.

I was also keen, but then i read this in the notes "The three meters are angled towards the driver for a higher level of visibility"
put that with the fact the red guages are only available for cars with the steering wheel on the right , and i became less interested.
