Just installed the Cobb Stage 1 last night. If there is anyone thinking about going stage 1... DO IT!!! There is a noticeable difference between stock and stage 1.

kinda late... but going to ask anyway

is this a Cobb map, or a custom pro-tune ?

because boost targets on the stage1 cobb map should be around 16psi or so. and that's waht i seem to be getting on mine. a spike to 17-ish for a slint second, then it settles down to 16 psi.

In that link what is the difference between the Cobb Stage 1 91 Octane map and the Cobb Stage 1 91 Octane map specifically for AZ/CA/NV??

Since they are both 91 octane maps why have a difference? What are the pros/cons of either?

Update: Same dyno, about 20 degrees warmer out, no further mods. 2200 miles on the car, it put down 241.4 this past weekend. I'll post up a pic of the dyno sheet Friday when I return home.

GET A BOOST GAUGE!
After installing a Catless down pipe, and Stg2 map. Our car was hitting 22PSI! Do to the lack of back pressure. And this was on the 91 Octane map.

We ended up enlarging the stock boost pill to .041(at different altitude you might need to do a different size) and the boost went back down to 17psi. And that is where it should be with a stock Cat back.

Be carefull running a Catless downpipe, OTS Stage2 map and no boost gauge to monitor.
Another thing. The AP will only read up to 18.6PSI, even if you are hitting 25PSI it will only show 18.6

Would changing this pill be an alternative to porting the wastegate??

34 hp and 40 TQ are very nice gains from a flash only.

That initial stock dyno of 199 is hurting though.

It's higher than that now and I bet if I went back to stock, it would be higher than 199. It's up 42 HP as of Saturday, no new mods, just more mileage.

I bet if you drove it hard from the beginning your stock horsepower would of been more.
