Pretty close?

That's the definition of horsepower. It's not possible for a Dyno to have one right and one wrong. They're only measuring one and calculating the other based on engine RPM.

The Dyno isn't "hiding" the horsepower. It just has a different calibration. Ignore the number and look at the gain - 34hp/17% is a solid gain from an off the shelf map. That's the only thing you can infer from the graphs posted.

Thanks for posting
You're a boob. I can go down the street and put down 420whp on a Dynojet or I can go across town and put down 325whp on a Dynodynamics. Regardless my car will still consistently run a 11.8@118mph. A dyno is a tuning tool. Nothing more. Nothing less.

What would be a estimated Quarter mile time and 0-60 time after Cobb stage I?

extra 34 whp + 40 TQ should definitely make some noticeable improvements.

How much is the AP from Cobb?

Do you really need to get one? What If I decide to go to a tuner (Harmon Motive). I'm sure they have a AP they can use to put in a Stage 1 map on a STI??

Is it better doing it yourself? Are the Stage 1,2, etc OTS Maps available for free download from Cobb?

The AP I believe is $695. Also, AP is vehicle specific. You cannot use it on more then one car.

My 08 STI with Cobb AP with catless DP is throwing a code of 244.

I've tried it with a Stage 1-93 & Stage 2-93 maps. They both do it. Cobb says it's a known problem. Anyone else have this problem? 5th gear pull loading up the turbos.

Btw the car is night and day with Stage 2 accessport! This is a MUST do for any STI! Better throttle reponse and smoother power from 3000rpms all the way to the top. The tq is addictive!

OMG,you are at stage 2 already?

What downpipe you are using? Did you get them from rocketrally?

Rocketrally. Quality is pretty nice. Will dynotune when i get the chance to see the results. The power is very nice more than enough for the track. Totally changes the handling characteristics of the car. Able to steer the car more with the throttle now.

Did you skip the Stage 1 and go straight to Stage 2?

How is this car in Stage 1 form?

A protune should be able to fix your current error code.
If you plan to get more mods, you probably have to wait for a while until all the mods are installed .then get a protune!

I will get my RR stage 1 done sometime this week.

Have youguys logged your IDC on Stage 2?

Jorge tuned my stock 08 yesterday. Pulled out 265 whp and 307 wtq without touching the boost map. Problem is we were at 95-98% IDC at that point. We wanted to push up boost more, but didn't have the head room. I would like to see what stage 2 IDC's looked like with the OTS map.

The stage 2 map states that it is intended to be used with a catted downpipe. What is the description of the 244 code? Cat efficiency?

I can't find any info on their website regarding available maps. Do you know if they have 91 octane maps?
