Having the brake pedal engage way higher than the acclerator is very annoying to me. I think that makes it really hard to heel toe, whether using the heel or the side of the foot.

I'm sure you will find that upon hard braking, the pedals will line up just right. Porsche's are the same way. Unless you are balls deep, its a little akward.

Agreed. It is great when on the track. I have adjusted the pedal in my wrx such that at it's lowest point it is dead even with the gas pedal. Makes track driving nice.
