Installed Tint and Clear Bra on the 08

I figured I'd post up a couple of pics of my SSM 08 Sti. I had 30% tint and a a clear bra installed yesterday. I took the pics inside due to the fact that it was snowing outside yesterday. I'll take a couple of shots in the sun today. The installation of the clear bra went very well. The job was done in my garage by a top notch installer. He does a little side work on the weekends. We ended up going with the hood scoop, mirror, and nose kit from Paint Protection Film - XPEL Technologies Corp.. He didn't like their hood kit because it didn't come up that far. He ended up cutting the hood out by hand. He will be finishing the install this week hitting the headlights and the rear passenger door edges (problem with chipping on some cars). It looks awsome. He did a great job! I couldn't beat the price.

I was thinking about doing the tails. If I had gotten the white base as planned, I would have had them done by now. I don't think they look that bad on the silver car.

Yeah, I've got the white 08 and also have the tail film but was going to wait for some warmer weather before I put them on. You're right the stock tails do not look as bad on a silver car.

Looks great man! Cant wait to see these things with blacked out tails, the mesh front grill and lowered on springs or coilovers. I think it has great potential.

That looks 10x better with tint. I really think you should do the tails red though, but to each his own.

Does anyone know how the film holds up on headlamps? I assume the clear film doesn't affect the brightness of the headlamps, right?

I'm considering getting the kit for the lights as well as the bumper. Great pics btw.
